Be A Pineapple
What we’re doing
Those who knew Alana, knew she loved all things PINEAPPLE ….. some called her the Pineapple Princess. We continue to see pineapples everywhere, and we think of Alana and smile.
Pineapples have become a symbol of Alana within the community, especially at Manly Warringah Netball, Collaroy Surf Club, and her school Mater Maria Catholic College.
To keep Alana’s memory alive within the Northern Beaches Community, and as an awesome kick-off to our official Blue Bottle fundraising, we are attempting to set the
Guinness World Record for…..
“The Largest Human Image of a Fruit”
We are going to form the shape of a
Pineapple!!

Reef to Water
What we’re doing
Immediately following the Be A Pineapple event (Sunday 16 October 2022), we will be embarking on an awesome JetSki Trek. We will follow the journey taken by the pretty little Blue Bottle that was filled with messages of love and support for our Alana.
Reef 2 Water will see 3 JetSki riders travel up the Australian east-coast from Long Reef NSW to Agnes Water QLD. The epic adventure will cover almost 1,500KM and will take about 2 weeks.
We are planning events along the way, including fundraisers, trivia nights, golf days, meet-and-greets with other Cancer families, doctors and researchers, blood and plasma donations to Red Cross Lifeblood, and lots more.
Our goals are simple:
- Raise awareness about childhood cancer
- Raise much needed funds for The Kids’ Cancer Project to support cancer research
- Get to Agnes Water safely!!
